Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Who we are

Pitch Bitch is currently operated by Alan Wilson, as an individual, not yet through a registered company. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the new entity. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact hello@pitchbitch.ai.

What we collect

If you use the core review tool without an account: we process the deck file you upload, converted to slide images, and the resulting AI-generated review. No personal data is required to use this core feature.

If you create a founder account: your email address, and if you sign up via Google, your name and basic profile information as provided by Google's sign-in service.

If you create an investor account: name, firm, thesis notes, stage/sector/geography focus, and cheque size range, as you provide them. Investor accounts require approval before activation.

If you submit a testimonial: your quote, company name, and an optional photo, which, if approved, is displayed publicly on the site.

Automatically, if you accept cookies: usage analytics via Google Analytics. Nothing is collected unless you actively consent through the cookie banner.

Payment information: if you choose to send a tip, this is handled entirely by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.

How we use it

We do not sell your data, and we never use your uploaded deck to train any AI model.

Your deck is private unless you choose otherwise

This is the most important part of this policy, so it's worth stating plainly: your deck and your review are never shown to anyone else, including investors on this platform, unless you explicitly choose to share them. Nothing about creating an account, uploading a deck, or getting a review puts your deck in front of anyone.

If you want to, you can opt in to add your deck to a pool visible to our approved investors, or to our investor-matching feature, in the hope of actually getting investment. That only happens when you take that specific action for that specific deck. You can choose this on some decks and not others, and you can withdraw a shared deck at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not share your data with any other third party, and we never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Deck files and reviews are retained for 12 months, after which they're automatically deleted. You can delete your own deck and review at any time before that, using the self-serve delete option on your review page. Account data is retained until you delete your account or request erasure.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, contact hello@pitchbitch.ai.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This only runs if you actively accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time via the link in the footer.

How this is funded

Pitch Bitch is currently run at a personal cost, as something given back to the founder community. If it grows, the intention is to cover costs through sponsorship or through investors paying for curated access, never by charging founders for feedback.

Children

This service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
